Mathew Louis-Rosenberg is an organizer, educator, and advocate living Charleston, West Virginia. The child and grandchild of activists, he has been in movement his whole life. He has worked in post-Katrina New Orleans as a co-coordinator and development director with Common Ground Relief’s Kids and Community Project and a trainer and curriculum developer with the Algebra Project, and in West Virginia for Coal River Mountain Watch as co-coordinator of the Sludge Safety Project and the Citizens’ Action for Real Enforcement Campaign, and in support of marginalized communities across the US. Mat currently works for the Thompson Barney Law Firm and spends most of his time with his daughter and 2 cats.
