Jason Ruehl is a WVU graduate with a Bachelors of Arts degree in History and graduate level certification in Cultural Resource Management. In addition to being a lifelong outdoorsman, Jason’s time at WVU got him interested in historic frontier skills which lead to an ongoing interest in leatherwork and woodwork. His father taught him a myriad of outdoor proficiencies including hunting, fishing, trapping, emergency first aid, and wilderness survival. He has been a lifeguard, swim-instructor, martial arts instructor, freelance artist, writer, and podcaster. He is also an ordained minister and has a black-belt in Taekwondo.
